Remove Duct Tape Residue From Carpet

Spray lubricant rubbing alcohol and dry cleaning fluid are all candidates but be sure to test first.

Gently rub the fibers with the soft cloth to remove the residue. Finally apply a carpet cleaner such as goo gone to finish the clean up. The warm water will soften the tape so it can be removed with a sponge or cloth. Continue working with clean areas of the cloth until all of the residue is gone.
