Revit Roof By Footprint Ridge Control

In this revit architecture tutorial i ll show you how to use it to create both roof types flat and sloped.

The following example shows a roof that you can create in revit lt using a slope arrow. I am trying to edit a roof which has two ridge lines. The roof by footprint tool is used for both flat and sloped roofs. If you choose not to move the roof to a different level revit lt notifies you later if the roof is too low. The only edit mode i can gain access to is edit footprint. This probably because when i select it i am not in edit mode.

Changing the slope angle if you see the symbol then the edge will be generated having slope. On the draw panel select a sketch or pick tool.
