Remove Granite Tile Countertop

Homeowners remove tile countertops for a number of reasons.

Make a test cut then remove the tile and make sure the bevel is even. Any tile person will be capable of removing the backsplash. Continue removing grout all throughout the tile surface. Use a drill and screw tip.

Start removing tiles from the edge of the countertop. Clamp the jig so the blade cuts just shy of the factory micro bevel. Remove the rounded bullnose tile along the front of the countertop. Lightly hammer on the chisel to take off these trim tiles.

Adjust the jig and re cut if necessary.
