Remove Caulking From Carpet

Removing adhesive from carpet involves breaking it down with a a cleaning solution spraying and rubbing until the sticky sensation disappears.

If the caulk has shrunk away from the joint. Scrape up the excess caulk from the carpeting with a putty knife. Finally apply a carpet cleaner such as goo gone to finish the clean up. Here are a few ways to remove adhesives.
